As you can see we finished our Metric Olympics today. Great lessons in measuring. We had one more event that wasn't on the slideshow and that was the marble grab. Students grabbed a handful of marbles and then had to weigh them on the scale. I totally forgot to get the camera out. For each event they had to estimate first, then do the event, measure and then find the difference between their estimate and their actual. Field trip to the ranch is rescheduled for Thursday, May 23rd. Hopefully, it won't be a muddy mess then. So so looking forward to this trip. 50 states & capitals test will be on Wednesday. So much to squeeze in in such a short time. Yikes. Wiffle ball game today with 6th grade didn't happen, but we hope to start playing our games tomorrow so make sure you have those tennis shoes here from now till the end of the year.
