Happy Terrific Thursday!

HATS-HATS-HATS!!! Yes, everyone go and find your favorite hat you are going to wear tomorrow for "Hats For Hope". Remember for 50 cents you can help our families in need. Also tomorrow is Venture Theater Performance. I can wait to watch the stars from our classroom and Bitterroot shine on stage. Extra Money: Yes, those that could, bought in to the Valentine's Day Party today for $500. They will spend any extra money on stuff from Mrs. Hankins' store tomorrow. Those that didn't have enough to buy in today will keep their money and hopefully have enough by February 12th (last day to buy in.) Ask your child what their status on this was and write yes or no in the planner for free money. Also for those that have not bought in, discuss what needs to change or happen in order for them to earn money. Remember it is the same for all and there is no reason they shouldn't have enough money if they are making good choices. My reading kids will be bringing their biography requirements home tomorrow so be watching for them. The whole project is due on Tuesday, February 12th. That gave them 3 weeks from last Tuesday when they chose their book. Should be ample time to read and do a good job on the project. Today in Math, we had fun with perimeter and area. Ask them what they did and write P & A in the planner. Last but not least, we wrote about "Dreams" today for MLK. Ask them about their dream. We have some kids in here with high aspirations!! I LOVE it!! DREAM-BELIEVE-ACHIEVE!! Ask them to tell you about Mrs. Hankins' new dream starting to become a reality!!!
