Friday Fun

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Tough weekend for Bronco & Packer fans. Oh who to "root" for now? I am thinking the Seahawks!! We had a fun day on Friday playing in the snow. There were snow angels being made, playing fox & hound, and keep away with the kick ball. I am not a snow lover, but can honestly say it was fun. Buddies consisted of making graphs which was great for us as a review because we did that before the long break. Ask your child what we graphed and write it in the planner. Snowmen at Night stories are now being published. Pretty fun and creative. I will take pics of them with the snowmen when complete and post for you to see or if you get to school, check them out in the hallway. We still have a few snow things to finish this week like making our snow globes so make sure you have your jar here. Venture Theater: I know they met on Friday for tryouts and rehearsals should start on Tuesday. Remember they are from 3:15-5:15. Report cards will be coming home on Thursday. They were very good and many of you made BUG or Terrific Kids Club. This is done by "bringing up grades or maintaining from quarter 1 and Terrific Kids is straight A's. Students will receive their awards in an assembly on Friday. Remember if you went to the PTA movie on Friday, write movie in the planner for free money. This week, we will finish our tour of the Midwest and our states & capitals test will be on Monday, January 21st. Have a great rest of the weekend and remember NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY FOR KIDS!!!
