Character Warriors: Today we completed the 4th cornerstone of being a character warrior. Now we move into the center one next week to tie it all together. Ask your child what the 4 cornerstones are and write them in the planner. After next week, they will become Mrs. Hankins' Character Warriors. They will be expected to display these character traits in their school, home, and community. They will be making shields to go with them. More on that next week as this will require a little bit of your help. Took our Montana History quiz today over statehood and the symbols. I got them corrected and handed back today and as you can see from them that I let spelling go if I could at least sort of decipher what it was. I did not correct the spellings either as there were too many of them. If your child didn't do well, that is probably because they are not focused and paying attention in class as we spent lots of time on these and we also review them on a daily basis.
